White Engineering Company, a consulting engineering firm, was established in April of 1976 by Ronald R. White, P.E. His services were offered out of his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was soon joined by Karyl G. Lee in the position of draftsperson. Ron and Karyl were the original personnel of the company. Over the next 15 years, the company grew from two to over ten employees while providing quality services and upholding ethical standards.
On July 1, 1992, the organization of White Engineering Company (WEC) changed from a sole proprietorship owned by Ronald R. White, to a corporation with the new name of White Engineering Associates, Inc., (WEA) owned by Ronald R. White and Karyl G. Lee.
Chad Grinsteiner was hired as an engineer in 1997. In 2003 he assumed the position of Chief Bridge Engineer and became an owner in the firm in 2008.
In 2006, WEA celebrated 30 years of service to their clients. With over 100 man-years of structural design experience, our staff has been responsible for the design of many buildings and bridges in Oklahoma and throughout the nation. WEA continues to strive daily to maintain our reputation of integrity and technical excellence.
